Welcome to Rosedale Abbey Community Primary School. Our School lies in the centre of Rosedale Abbey village and is at the heart of the local community.  As a school we are proud to be educationally, emotionally and economically attached to our local community, but our sights are always set on wider horizons!

Our immediate environment is one of our most precious resources.  We take every opportunity to get ‘out and about’ in the village, in our school garden, along the footpaths, in the fields and on the Moors. 

We also enjoy a variety of visits further afield e.g. days fossil hunting and rock pooling on the coast, residential adventure activity visits to Cumbria and drama, dance and choir activities in neighbouring schools.

The school is a hub for many village activities and both the staff and children take a great pride in ‘being involved’ with a variety of community events and in the annual Rosedale Show.
